Deborah's nominator has recently completed treatment for cancer undergoing a major operation and chemotherapy, and Deb has supported her and encouraged her through this very difficult time helping her regain her fitness from starting walking again and then back into running into running.

George Harden
George has running coursing through his veins and has been part of the regions running community longer than most can remember. He gives up his own time to volunteer to train C25K runners, junior athletes in Washington every week, at schools and at council events whenever asked.
